Economic Evaluation of Effectiveness of Domestic Raw Materials Using

Abstract Raw materials provide profit for owner, state and mining company, as well as single region. Mentioned means that problem of evaluation of raw material deposits is very actual and necessary area. In developed market economies evaluation of reserved deposits is considered as one of the most complex, but also most important activities during finding and research of any deposit of raw material. According national strategy for permanently sustainable development of Slovakia position of natural environment and using of raw materials in Slovakia is not sustainable from the long-term view. From the view of social and economic impacts of mining we analyzed chosen macroeconomic indexes in mining. By this way we analyzed individual regions of Slovakia. Results of analysis shows that mining activity is characterized by technologically severity and high rate of human work, and by this way with regard to costs structure it presents important source of employment. Prospective Use RDF-Raw Materials in Agricultural Technologies and Rubble Concrete

Abstract In St. Petersburg and the adjacent territory of the Leningrad region there are about 250 unauthorized dumps, which are placed, according to very rough estimates, from 500 thousand to 1 million cubic meters of garbage. A distinctive feature of illegal dumps is the high concentration of heavy and rare metals in the garbage. The article discusses the possibility of using aerobic waste composting as a fertilizer for soil and a solid building material, or alternative solid binder, highly abrasive granules. The applied research methods suggest that RDF wastes are commercialized and have the prospect of becoming a separate innovative product. On the Topology of State-space, Linear vs. Nonlinear Theories and Dry Friction

Image
Insights in Mining Science & Technology Juniper Publishers Authored by  Jozsef Verhas Abstract The work reported here aimed to eliminate the gap between static- and sliding friction on the ground of non-equilibrium thermodynamics with dynamic (internal) degrees of freedom introduced into the state space of the system. Here a germ of a thermodynamic theory is sketched without acquiring generality. Here the simplest model is looked for to eliminate the gap between static and kinetic friction. It is not a complete idea at all but may be a guideline for further modeling. The fork where the train of thoughts stops at gives way to several kinds of possibilities, a number of which by the author’s opinion may have their own realm of application. Finally, an accurately accountable model is given that may be assumed friction if we pretend not knowing its origin and the law differs signficantly from the nearly exclusively used Coulomb’s law. This example support...
